It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Fr. David Joseph Brabant on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Actionmarguerite St. Joseph, at the age of 90 years.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne’s Road followed by the funeral mass on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Boniface Cathedral, 180 De La Cathedrale Avenue.

L'Abbe Brabant a servi a la Paroisse du Precieux-Sang pendant quelques breves annees. Son sourire, entrain et joie de vivre ont ete tres apprecie des paroissiens et paroissiennes. Il aimait aider les autres et c'est ce qui l'a rendu plus proche de tous. My condolances to the family. Father Brabant was well liked when he served at Precieux Blood Parish in Norwood. His love of life and quick humor brought many of us to tears at times. He loved helping in whatever manner he could.
