Suddenly and unexpectedly, Scott passed away at home at the age of 45. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Wayne and Heather; sister Michelle (Ken) and nephew Berkeley; brother Jeffrey (Joanne) and nieces Olivia and Zoey. He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family. Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, his aunt Lynn, his godmother Brenda, and his second cousins Brittany and Damien.
Scott will be remembered by many friends and co-workers at Costco, Boston Pizza, Perkins Family Restaurant, and the Round Table.
He had a big heart and a special love for animals, especially dogs. Scott loved spending time at the family trailer, where he enjoyed fishing, campfires, and playing games. Scott was a proud and spirited Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan.
His greatest joy was spending time with his nieces and nephew, whose laughter brought him so much happiness.
As per Scott’s wishes, aquamation has taken place at Tillwell Funeral Services.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Unit 283 Assiniboia, 3584 Portage Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal shelter or the Humane Society are encouraged.
