ALICE LOCKEN
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alice Locken on Saturday, May 16 at the age of 84 years.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Augusta and sister Alma.
Left to cherish her memory, husband Wayne of 62 years and her children Alan and Gary (Lisette) and sister Tilly, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Alice’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private family internment at Glen Eden will be held at a later date.
We would like to thank everyone at Concordia Hospital for their compassion and care for Alice in her time of need.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alice’s memory to Cancer Care.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of our dear friend Alice (see her as a sister to us) So many childhood memories as well as now. After the passing of her mom and later her dad my mom took them under her wing. To us we were family As a young girl she and her husband Wayne let me stay with them while I was employed at RBC She taught me how to cook, and so much more. Over the years even after I married my husband Kurt we remained close friends. Brought up our children together.. shared dinners I remember chinese food visits.. Plus occasional visits to their cottage.. New Years Eve fun and announcing to them Kurt and expecting our first child. I could go on and on but must try to keep this brief. Alice had a heart of gold, as well as her husband Wayne I will close in saying she will be sincerely Missed.. oh the phone calls (never missed my birthday Alice you will be forever in our hearts. Sincere Sympathies to the family and relatives.. with love and heaviness in our hearts.
