The family of Rev. Aldwin Ragoonath announces his peaceful passing into the presence of his Saviour on March 7, 2026, at the age of 76. Aldwin committed his life to Christ at age 14, beginning a lifelong ministry of preaching, teaching, and missions. In 1972, he left his homeland of Trinidad to begin a new chapter in Canada, where he later founded Agape Chapel in Winnipeg. His ministry also took him around the world, teaching Hermeneutics and Homiletics in seminaries and training church leaders in many nations.
Above all, Aldwin was a devoted family man who shared 52 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rubena. He was a loving father to Sharla (Gilles) Gauthier and Christa, and a proud grandfather to Dominic, Bryana, and Elianne. His legacy of kindness, steadfast faith, and quiet determination leaves a profound impact across generations.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service in his honor on June 25, 2026, at 6:30 pm at Cross Church, 1787 Logan Ave, Winnipeg, MB.
