Judy Monro (née Smith) passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the age of 76. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and warm spirit.
Judy was predeceased by her first husband Jack Monro and second husband Bill Borcik, her son Rodney, and her parents John and Nora Smith. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her son Greg, daughter Carrie (Ryan), her four siblings Pat, Norm (Bev), Janet, and Jeanne, her five grandchildren, and lifelong friend Judy.
Judy and Jack operated their business, Bramer Automotive Centre together. Judy cherished the trips they took together and their time at the Royal Manitoba Yacht Club. After Jack’s passing, Judy found love a second time with husband Bill. Together, they enjoyed road trips, dining out, and spending time with friends and family.
Judy spent her final years at Luther Home Personal Care Home, where she enjoyed the recreational activities and the warm sense of community. The family extends thanks to the staff at Luther Home for their exceptional care, compassion, and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Judy’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
