JAN GUNNESS
With heavy hearts we announce that Jan passed away at the age of 69.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Peddle; children, Sarah Mitchell (Derek) and Kyle Peddle (Jess); grandchildren, Rebecca, Quinn, Rhiannon, David and Asher; siblings, Barry Gunness and Maureen Hardy; as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by friend Lou McCorrie; and her mother-in-law Rose Greening-Peddle with whom she had extra special bonds.
Jan was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Isobel Gunness (Slater); and brother Grant Gunness.
We love you and will miss you so much.
Special thanks to Drs Moltzan (CancerCare) and Sharma (St. Boniface 6AS) and all of the wonderful nurses who worked so hard to keep her with us for as long as possible.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16 at St. Norbert Arts Centre 100 Rue des Ruines du Montastere. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
