On Sunday, June 7, 2026, Don passed away unexpectedly at Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Donald and Kevin. Sharing in their sorrow are many relatives and friends.
Don was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Joanne; his parents; and recently, his dear sister Mildred.
Since 1980, Don owned and operated Prairie Gear, a company that manufactured gear boxes mainly for the agriculture industry. He was totally devoted to providing the best possible service to his customers and travelled extensively to do so. He will be missed by his customers and his employees.
A memorial service in honour of Don will be held at Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd., on June 25, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
