After a lengthy illness with dementia, Richard Trupish peacefully passed away on June 19, 2026, at Holy Family Home, with his family by his side, at the age of 90 years.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Anne Trupish; and his brothers, Victor and Ernie.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 60 years, Marjorie; his beloved daughters, Rhonda (Bernie Jewar), and Corrine (Bruce Smithson); his treasured grandchildren, Chad Smithson, Alexa Smithson, and Gracyn Jewar; and his brother, Ray (Shelby) of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He also leaves behind many extended family members.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
