I was a resident of Ross Place Seniors Residence in Victoria from 2021 to 2023 and that's where I got to know Bruce Bruce had the lovely custom of delivering a chocolate bar to every resident on their birthday whether he knew them personally or not. I used to enjoy visiting him in his apartment at the residence and hearing his stories about collecting art and his childhood in Winnipeg where he was a classmate of Neil Young. We have kept in touch by email since I moved back to Ottawa three years ago. I will miss you Bruce. You were a fine human being. - Posted by: Douglas Ward (Friend) on: Jul 11, 2026

So many happy memories of spending summers with Bruce in Riondel and the times we went to their summer cottage at Moose Lake. He was a terrific cousin and will be dearly missed. With lots of love. ❤️ From Susan - Posted by: Susan Rae (Cousin) on: Jul 05, 2026
