Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERA ROSOLOWICH
It is with sadness that we record the peaceful death of Vera Rosolowich, dearly loved by all her family, by her sister, nieces, goddaughters, godson and friends.
Born in Yorkshire, England, April 15, 1942, Vera trained as a nurse and midwife, before coming to Canada in 1967 to work in the First Nations community at Cross Lake, Northern Manitoba. She and her husband, Orest, subsequently moved to Winnipeg, where she had a long and successful nursing career, working first at Misericordia Hospital and ending at the Breast Health Centre. She was a greatly respected compassionate nurse and educator. She was also a longstanding active member of St. Albans Church, and subsequently of St. Luke's.
Vera died peacefully at home in Winnipeg, June 22, 2026 and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at St Luke's Anglican Church at a later date.

Sad to hear of Vera's passing. She was a wonderful gifted woman who was a joy to know. She and her beloved Orest contributed so much to the life of St. Alban's when I served there as Rector. Her care and love for my family will always be a treasured memory. May she rest in peace in the arms of her loving Saviour who she served so well. - Posted by: Jim Njegovan (Former parish priest) on: Jul 04, 2026
