We are saddened to announce that on June 29, 2026, with her family by her side, Melinda Tracey Bihun passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 58 years.
Left to cherish Melinda’s memory is her beloved husband of 35 years Donald; daughter Ashley; son Brendan; mother Kathy Schoffner; brother Robert Schoffner (Marcia); nephews and niece Koen, Annika, and Mattias Schoffner.
Melinda was predeceased by her father Edward Schoffner and sister Irene Howanyk.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I’m deeply saddened by this news. I have wonderful memories of Melinda - from growing up together at Camp Neustadt on 3rd Street, and from all the years we danced at the German Club and Oktoberfest with the Treuer Husar Mardi Gras dancing group in the 70s and 80s.
