With deep sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of James Micheal Hardy, or Jim, as he was known to most people. Jim passed away, surrounded by family at St. Boniface Hospital. Jim also successfully battled cancer for 15 years.
Jim is survived by his spouse Kathleen (Kate); children, Alex (Kaitlyn) and Brent (Alycia); grandchildren, Arria, Landen, Kayden, and Olivia; siblings, Ken (Rhonda), Karen VanBurren (Dick), and Susan (Doug); sisters-in-law, Eleanor Cassels and Daphne Harris; and birth mother Marie Bauldic. He is predeceased by his parents, Alex and Mary-Lou; parents-in-law, James and Audrey Cassels; sister in-law Rita Swan (John), and brother in-law Gord Harris.
A community Memorial Mass will be held Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre, Teulon, Manitoba, followed by fellowship and private internment.
