PAMELA JEANNE GUNN

The family is deeply saddened by the passing of Pamela Jeanne Gunn on April 14, 2026.

She was born on February 7, 1970, in Kenora, Ontario.

Pamela was predeceased by her beloved Father, Sedley Bruce Gunn in 1996.

Pamela is dearly missed by her son Keith Matson and daughter-In-Law Kaitlyn Staveley, her mother Therese Gunn and step-father Lorne McCool.

She is forever cherished and remembered by her brothers, Kevin (Andrea) and Larry (Jade), her three nephews, Elliot (Andrea), Joshua, Callum and grandnephew Forrest.

She leaves behind Aunts and Uncles who adored her dearly, especially her aunty Margaret Webster.

Her memory will be treasured by her cousins, friends and colleagues.

Pamela excelled at school, graduating from John Taylor Collegiate with Honors in 1988, University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree making The Deans list in 1992. She later went on to get her Master’s Degree in Nursing.

She had a beautiful personality and cared for people and that reflected in her choice of a career in nursing. She worked in the Manitoba health field and progressed through multiple areas in the health field as a home’s visitation nurse, geriatric nursing, nursing standards and professional practice and was a patient advocate in a patient relations role.

Outside of nursing, Pamela was a talented and creative artisan. She loved challenges and took up new activities such as fencing and snooker.

We all love and miss you.
