Peacefully on July 4, 2026 at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, with family at her side, Anne Moeller of Teulon, Manitoba passed away at the age of 94.
Anne was child number nine in a large family of 14 siblings, and was born in Inglis, Manitoba on the family farm on April 9, 1932.
She is survived by her husband, Ken, daughter Donna, son Murray (Karen), daughter Julie (Cody), niece Cindy, who was like a daughter (RJ), nephew Bradley, who was like a son (Nancy); grandchildren, Olivia, Jody (Brad), Jill (Colin), Marcus (Clarice), Jessica (Kyle), Curtis (Jaylese), Hailey (Carter), Kylie, Alexandra, Gage, Levi, Cierra, Brody and Bentley; great-grandchildren, Brooks, Atlie, Brody, Hazel, Declan and Emerson. Anne also leaves to mourn her sisters, Thelma, Margaret, Maureen, her brothers, Arnold and Dennis and sister-in-law Vicki (Bill). She was predeceased by her parents, Reinhold and Julianna, her brothers, Reinhold, Adolph, George, Albert, Richard and her sisters, Elsie, Eleanor, Pearl and her son-in-law Brent.
Anne was deeply proud of each of her children and the wonderful adults they have all become. She always enjoyed our family gatherings and one of the greatest ways she showed love was through cooking and baking. Anne was devoted to their farm. Anne spent countless hours in the kitchen preparing meals for family and friends, who would stop in or be working on the farm and no one ever left hungry. She spent many hours tending to her garden and family and friends would enjoy the fruits of her labor. Anne led by example from her work ethic, kindness, generosity, compassion, the importance of telling the truth and always putting others first. She will be remembered as an extremely caring and selfless person. Anne had an extraordinary gift for making people she loved feel cherished, never forgetting a birthday or special occasion. Family and friends could always count on a thoughtful card, a phone call, or warm wishes that made their day brighter. In her later years, Anne and Ken looked forward to enjoying part of their winters in Florida.
At Anne’s request there will be no funeral and a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Teulon.
Anne’s family would like to thank all of the staff at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre for the kind and wonderful care Anne received. We would also like to thank Ken Loehmer for his help and guidance during this difficult time.
