MARIE THERESA WITTMAIER
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marie Theresa Wittmaier, on July 4, 2026, at the age of 92 at Seven Oaks Hospital.
Theresa will always be remembered by her nine children; Glen (Mareta), Linda, Phil (Lesley), Brian, Patsy (Hardy), Val (Brian), Norman (Sandy), Bev (Eugene), Lloyd; 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren; her two sisters Violet (Dave), and Margaret; her sisters-in-law Martha and Adina, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Rubin; parents Joseph and Josephine; sister Pauline; brother Louie; father-in-law Rudolf; mother-in-law Helene; brothers-in-law Reinhardt, Erwin, Tho, Jay; sister in-law Clara; son-in-law Victor, and great-granddaughter Ainslie.
Theresa will always be remembered for her deep kindness and genuine care she showed to everyone.
The family takes comfort that she is resting in peace, free from pain and reunited with her loved ones once again.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare or Heart and Stroke.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Friends Funeral Service 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg.
Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
