Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE (LES) IRVINE JACK CROFT
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie (Les) Irvine Jack Croft on July 20, 2026, in Carman, Manitoba.
Les was born in Manchester, England, on May 15, 1934. From his early days Les was a passionate Manchester United Football fan. He told stories of his father taking him to games as a child and was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the team through it's history.
In 1960 Les married his wife Jean, and together they had two sons, Michael and Paul. Les and Jean relocated their family to Canada in 1972 and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Les retired after many years in the garment industry or "the rag trade" as he called it in 1991. For the next six years Les and Jean RVed around Canada and the US until they decided to settle down in Killarney, Manitoba. They would spend the summers in Manitoba and then escape the Manitoba winters to Hemet or Indio, California.
After the passing of his wife, Les moved to Morden, Manitoba and he found joy in learning how to play his ukulele and putting on performances for everyone. He also loved cruising around Morden in his blue scooter.
Les was predeceased by his wife Jean, parents, Thomas and Jane Croft; and his sisters, Greta and Pearley.
Leslie is lovingly remembered by sons, Michael (Janet) and Paul (Judy); grandchildren, Daryl (Chrissy), Laura (Matt), Michelle (Chris), Jared (Hope), Stacy (Brandan) and Shaun (Camryn); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Hurley, Lily, Lux, Hampton, Rosie, Briggs, Perry and Ledger.
Flowers are gratefully declined, those so desiring may make a donation to a charity of their choosing.
