On July 18, 2026 our beloved mother Margaret passed peacefully to her eternal reward.
Our hearts ache to have to let her go but we know we will one day be reunited in our Heavenly Home.
A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc Street. Viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m.

Marguerite was a great friend to my mother Henriette. They were neighbors for many years. Our family got to know Marguerite and she became family to us. I personally got to know Marguerite as I spent time with her during my visits with my mother which became frequent. Loved Marguerite very much. Her love of life and joyfullness that she brought to us. My mother and her shared their favorite dishes, stories and favorite board and card games. Marguerite will be greatly missed. Mrs. O’Brien was an excellent teacher. I’ll never forget her “stop the bus” look or how she’d calm an unruly classroom by holding her signature pose with her arm raised until, one by one, we would all copy her, sitting silently until you could hear a pin drop and she’d move the lesson along.
