RAYMOND VICTOR STERNAT

It is with profound sadness that the family of Raymond Victor Sternat announces his peaceful passing at his home in Tyndall, Manitoba, at the age of 84.

Raymond was born on February 11, 1942, to Joseph and Carrie Sternat. Throughout his life, he was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Raymond was predeceased by his beloved wife, Pauline Sternat; his parents, Joseph and Carrie Sternat; and his brother, James Sternat.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving son, Jason Sternat; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Sternat-McIvor; and cherished grandson, Adam. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, generosity, and quiet sense of humour.

Raymond will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, proud businessman, and loyal friend. His gentle nature, dedication to those he loved, and the countless memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. While he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with Pauline, the love of his life.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Garson, Manitoba.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Forever loved, always remembered,

and deeply missed.
