With great sadness, the family of Kevin George Markus announces his passing on July 21, 2026, at the age of 64, following a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kevin was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication to his family. He spent many years with Maple Leaf Construction, where he took great pride in his work.

Predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Samuel Markus, and siblings, David and Darlene, Kevin will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of family, and many cherished memories at his cabin in Grand Beach.
To Dad’s brothers, Ernie and Alex, and his sister, Donna - thank you. Thank you for standing by his side throughout the last few months of his cancer journey. Your love, your support, your visits, and the time you spent with him meant more than words can express. You gave him comfort, strength, and reminded him that he was never alone.
