It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet mom, Ruby, who left her earthly home on August 1, 2026, to enter the loving embrace of her Saviour, Jesus Christ at the age of 89.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brent (Lisa) Olson, Wayne (Janet) Olson, Andrea (Jake) Wiebe, Mark (Monica) Olson; her grandchildren Stephen Fleming, Candace (Josh) Tuzyk, Kevin (Cailey) Fleming, Abby (Jaron) Friesen, Erika (Justin) Geisheimer, Tanis Wiebe, Eric Wiebe, Adam Wiebe, and Tyler Olson; and her cherished great-grandchildren: John Tuzyk, Natalie Tuzyk, Elyse Friesen, Leila Friesen, Gabriel Friesen, Silas Friesen, and Charlie Geisheimer.
Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Roger Carl, and by many friends and family.
Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ, 170 St. Mary’s Road, Winnipeg, MB.
We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who kept her comfortable and peaceful during her last few days.
