It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eileen Louise Barker on July 13, 2026, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her brother, John Barker, and his wife, Deirdre; their son, Ryan, and his wife, Ashley; and her great-nephew, Gavin. She is also survived by her sister, Kathryn Wisse, and her husband, Craig, and their children, Brett and Erika.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Frances Barker; her brother, Arthur Barker; and her very special and cherished friend, Pete Smith.
In keeping with Eileen's wishes, there will be no formal service.
She will be interred at Gimli Community Cemetery at a future date alongside her family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Eileen's memory are invited to make a donation to the charity of their choice. She quietly supported many worthy causes throughout her life and would be pleased to be remembered through an act of generosity.
