In the early morning hours of August 1, 2026, our beloved father, father-in-law, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away with our mom Gail by his side. They had recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary!
He will be greatly missed by his wife Gail; daughter Leanne (Ken); daughter Karen (Mike); son Wayne (Sheri); and daughter Kendra (Lee); grandchildren Michelle (Shawn), Erika (Ronnie), Chantel (Xavier), Shayne, Steff (Finn), and Shaylynn (Alphonse); and great-grandchild Charlotte.
Our dad loved to see people smile and to hear people laugh, and he loved funny socks and dogs. So, remember our dad by wearing your funniest pair, and if you would like to make a donation in our dad’s name, we would be so grateful if you would donate to a pet rescue of your choice, or to Alzheimer/dementia research.
There will be no service as per Dad’s wishes, just raise a toast to our dad, our hero, and wear your funniest, craziest socks.
