DIANE ELIZABETH EATOUGH

(nee BATTISTUZZI)

August 8, 1947 - August 3, 2026

Surrounded by family, our beloved Diane passed very peacefully into the arms of angels in the early morning of August 3, 2026.

Diane was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 8, 1947, spending her formative years in St. Vital. She is predeceased by her parents, Armand and Cornelia Battistuzzi of Berrydale Ave.

Diane is survived by her husband Scott of 53 years, daughter Robyn (Darryl Chabot), daughter Shannon (Marcel Sarrasin), son Derek (Gillian), and five grandchildren Nevé, Sage, Maya, Matéo, and Rhys. She cherished her friends and family and is also survived by her brother Richard, and her beloved sisters, Joan, Judy, Pat, Linda, and Susan.

Diane had a special gift of caring for children. She offered patience and a warm heart to every child she met. Looking after her own children, grandchildren and working in childcare brought her great joy, and she touched many young lives with her gentle, loving nature.

Many thanks to the staff at Riverwood Square and the staff on the Family Medicine ward of St. St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Thompson “In the Park” Funeral Home on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice in Diane’s memory.
