It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Sanda Elaine Elder on July 30, 2026, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
Sandra accomplished many things in life but primarily she was a proud mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, a good friend and a quiet fighter. Mom also loved to spend her time reading and crafting when she was not working. She loved her time at Zellers making connections with both the staff and customers.
She was predeceased by her mother and best friend Beatrice and brother Wayne. Sandra will be missed by her brothers, Jack (Pat), Gary and her children, Rob (Marjorie), Kim, Bruce (Tanis) and Stephen (Sonya), her grandchildren, Vickie (Jason), Michael (Christa), Josh, Zac and Carly; her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Conner and Jonathan plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who has assisted with our mom; our family members, Dr. G. Breckman, other medical professionals, First Responders, and the residents at Hamilton House.
Sandra will be interred at a private family ceremony on September 18, 2026 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
