It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Douglas Greig, at the age of 72.
Roy was the beloved husband of Kathleen and a loving father to Roy Jr. (Kim); and stepsons, Jason and Justin. He will be dearly missed by his brother Brian; sister Karen; and in-laws, Linda Greig, Margaret (mother-in-law), James, Jerry (Jamie) Petkau, Irene (Trevor) Wall, and Lori (Dale) Streamer. Roy is also survived by grandchildren, Damian, Nicole, Chelsie and Owen; along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Roy was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Katie; brother Bobby; father-in-law Jacob Petkau; and sisters-in-law, Diane Fast and Lucy Petkau.
Memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg. Interment will happen in Kitchener, Ontario.
