Melven Edward Baker passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the age of 81.
Mel will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kathy (Bruce), Cora Lee, and Paula; grandchildren, Bryson (Sarah), Brandi (Wade), Austin and Jaden; step-grandchildren, Mikyle and Nazaire; and great-grandchildren, Brody, Kallie, and Robbie.
A funeral service for Mel will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. In honour of Mel, the family will be wearing plaid and guests are warmly invited to join them in doing the same.
