Peacefully on March 30, 2026, John passed away at the Regional Hospital in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Holding him dearly in their hearts are his sisters, Catherine (Frank) Wenski and Grace Simmons, along with many family and friends.
John, the son of Jack and Grace Huhn, grew up in Pine Falls, Manitoba. After receiving his Diesel Mechanic Degree, he moved to Endako, BC. He had a full and adventurous life fulfilling many of his cherished dreams. He was a manager at Endako Mines, ranched for several years raising cattle and his beloved horses, sailed and lived on his boat Tatoi. In later years, he spent summers at his cottage in White Mud Falls and winters in Puerto Vallarta.
John was very loving and supportive of his family and friends, always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He is missed.
There will be a celebration of John's life on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 141 Beach Road, White Mud Falls.
