On the morning of August 7, 2026, Fred peacefully passed away at home with family by his side at 93 years of age.
Fred is survived by his wife Elianne “Lily” and their seven children, Cheryl, Linda, David (Wendy), Selina, Monica, Annette (Ian) and Donald (Bonnie); and his faithful dog Copper.
He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Andrew, Leigh (Daniel), Lana (Jonah), Alyssa, Everette (Atlin), Brooke, Campbell and one great-grandchild Sasha.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street, Winnipeg with Father Ani Xavier presiding.
