After 90 wonderful years, on Easter Sunday April 5, 2026, Mom passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, MB.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years Fred; parents, Bessie Engels (Dickman) and Alfred Müggenburg; stepsiblings, Eldine (Ruggles)Treleaven, Phyllis (Bailey), Max, Ted and Don Engels, She will be sadly missed by her son David, his wife Kaaren; grandson Kristian and granddaughter Jessica; as well as her in-laws and out-laws, Eric and Dorothy Taylor, Marilyn (Walsh), Dennis and Barb Pearce, Larry and Jamie Pearce; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
We will miss her talented busy hands, twiddling thumbs, fantastic food, great wit, engaging smile and infectious laughter. A truly beautiful soul, we were so very blessed to know.
Ingrid will be interred later this year with Fred at Greenwood Cemetery in Burlington, ON.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the exceptional caregivers who supported Ingrid during her final months. Your compassionate care for Ingrid and family was extraordinary. Thank you!
