LADINE MOLDENHAUER

I was born to Martin and Barbara Anderson, proudly becoming their first daughter. Today, I am married to Dale Moldenhauer and the mother of two wonderful daughters, Mia and Molly, a role that has been a true privilege. I also have two fantastic sons-in-law, Oscar and Cole, and I cherish my role as Nana to Henry and Penelope. My life is enriched by my three beautiful, generous sisters, Heather, Laureen, and Holly, along with their spouses, Josh, Tom, and Paul. Additionally, I am fortunate to be a sister-in-law to Carol (Don), Glen (Kim), Ivan (Judy), and Colleen (Kevin). Being an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews has further blessed my life, filling it with countless riches. I can’t forget about being a niece and cousin to many.

After graduating from high school, I, like many others, relocated to Winnipeg to attend Red River College. I spent ten years working for CNR before moving to Moosonee, Ontario, and subsequently to Calgary, eventually returning to Winnipeg.

Throughout my journey, I have forged many meaningful friendships and connections I will cherish for a lifetime. I take pride in being a founding member of the SPs and the Champagne Gang, as well as a member of the Dining Divas, along with various other groups, including curling and book clubs.

Being a stay-at-home mom for many years was a joy; those moments were truly precious to me. My passion for fitness has been a constant in my life, beginning in the 1980s with aerobics (the spandex gang), continuing through running, curling, and bodybuilding.

In 2023, our family faced tragedy, and I found myself as the sole provider. Kyriakos from Cork & Flame took a chance on me, a gesture I will always treasure. Later, Mike entrusted me with greater responsibilities at the restaurant, and I am grateful to Dave and Mardina Andrews for affording me even more opportunities. I can honestly say this has been the best job I have ever had, filled with wonderful customers and staff; working there was truly a gift.

The love I have received from my family and friends has shaped me into who I am today. I face the future without fear, knowing where I am headed. You may miss me more than I will miss you, as I will be embraced in the arms of my Father.

My Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street, with reception to follow.

Love you more
