She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Shelley (Albert) Bothorel, Beverley (Jean) Cormier and Sharon (Jim) McMahon, her grandchildren, Charlene (Myles), Amanda (Derek), Gail (Jérémie), Shawn and Colin, her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Tyson, Jayden, Perrin, Alizée and Khloe and her sister Francie (Gerry) Barker. She will also be remembered by Sean, Jennifer (Dayle), Ella, Will and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mom was predeceased by Mike, her loving husband of 46 years, her parents, Peter and Anna Kupiec, and her sister Kathryn Brown.
Mom was born October 20, 1932, in East Braintree, MB which was her home until she married Mike in 1952 and moved to Winnipeg. She worked as a seamstress before having her children. Mom was a very hard worker, loved her garden, dancing and travelling. She was known as the "Cookie Lady" by all the children as she always had homemade cookies on hand.
A service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Desjardins Funeral Home on 357 DesMeurons Street with a light lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
