It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Herdis Gendron. She passed peacefully in the hospital with her daughter by her side on July 1, 2026 at the age of 76.
Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie Lyn Gendron (Emma Hendrix), grandchild Ari; sister Ingrid (Robert) Sikich and niece Dionne (Mike) Reinhart and nephew Dwayne Sikich. Wendy was predeceased by Andres (Eddy) Gudmundson and Esther Valdheidur Gudmundson.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Leaf, 145 Leaf Way Winnipeg.
The family would like to thank the nurses and aides in the Geriatric Rehabilitation Department of the Victoria General Hospital who advocated for her comfort and those who offered their love and support during her last days.
