Carmelita (Lita) Tolentino passed away August 18 2026.
Lita had an engaging personality and made friends wherever she worked and in the Filipino community. She had an excellent nursing career and retired after 37 years at Health Sciences Centre.
She is survived by her son Joel and wife Susan and her beloved Granddaughter Carina as well as her best friend Rene Weinstein. Surviving her as well are her brothers Rey and family, Gil and family, Nestor and family and her older sister Mely.
Funeral services will be held at St. John Brebeuf church on Tuesday August 25 at 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life in the church hall.
