After a brief illness, Bernie Fehr was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at 11:27 p.m., on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 84, with his family by his side.
Bernie is survived by his children, Lana (Darryl) Chartrand, Martha (Shawn) Corbin, Ben (Tanya) Fehr, Darla Davies and Kendall Hiebert (Jennifer). Bernie is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, Joel Fehr (Kerrie), Robyn Chartrand, Arielle Chartrand, Erin Corbin (Cory) Stephaney (John) Goettler, Tyler Corbin, Justin Fehr, Megan Fehr, Samantha Fehr, Kyla (Dallas) Kovaks, Derek (Brooklyn) Davies, Levi Hiebert, Seth Hiebert, Kyra Hiebert (Jeff) and Caleb Hiebert; along with nine great-grandchildren, Levi and Lucas Crockatt, Ellie and Jordyn Fehr, John Jr. and Maisey Goettler, Noa Davies, and Luca and Sophia Materi. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Guenther, Aggie Fehr and Mary (Sam) Small; his brother John (Sandra) Fehr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernie was predeceased by his wife Darlene; his parents, Isaac and Margaret Fehr; his sisters, Martha Fehr and Kathy Green; and infant grandchild Ashton Blair Davies.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with viewing beginning at 1:30 p.m., at New Life Church, 6106E Highway 67, Stonewall, Manitoba. Refreshments will be served following the service, followed by a private family interment.

Bernie and his family were such good friends and customers of our store. He was always polite and respectful to us and our staff. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
