Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dorothy and Bud were always very generous with hospitality when my husband Fred brought us with our family to visit them in Regina, not often enough as we lived in Montreal, then Toronto. My last visit was last year in July 2025, to Winnipeg now, when I came with my daughter Faith. I was very touched that Dorothy remembered who we were after such a long time. She was frail but very alert and able to get around with her walker to show us the garden she had organized and developed over the years of her stay at the Lion's Place. Also the on-site library where she helped out. Family pictures took pride of place in her living space. My sincere condolences to Ken and the family. She was a remarkable woman. - Posted by: Kathleen Wilkes (sister-in-law (Bud's brother Fred's widow)) on: Aug 28, 2026
