We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Leo-Paul Ragot on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Leo was born on September 3, 1948, and was the proud eldest son of the late Maurice and Therese Ragot (nee Chabidon). He is now reunited with his beloved and devoted wife, Rosemary (nee Smith); as well as his sisters, Ginette Kolodrupski and Denise.
He leaves his sweet memory to his daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Chris Winsby and Terry and Paul Miller. His beloved grandsons, Justin and Ryan Winsby. Siblings, Lorraine Hadaller, Suzanne Wood, Andy, Larry, Simone Stadnyk, Gerald, Gilbert, Normand and Antoine. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who admired his strength.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 rue DesMeurons, with a gathering of family and friends to follow.
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 1680 Notre Dame Ave., Unit 2, Winnipeg, MB R3H 1H6, or a charity of your choice.
