Sadly, we announce the passing away of Kathy Bertouille on August 22, 2026, at age 85, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Lovingly remembered by her husband Maurice, four children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00 pm at North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland Street, Winnipeg. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada or to North Kildonan United Church.

Bill writes: My condolences to Maurice and all his family and friends. How I remember the later teen-age years of Kathy, her sister Pat and Kingsley friends Elaine and Anne Shewfelt etc. , the whole crew often ended up at dances together. Remember the older Ford car with yellow fenders? Always loved her vibrant fun nature. Always ready to play a few tricks on close friends.
