Sadly, Lyle passed away on August 13, 2026, leaving behind his mother, two sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral Service will be held at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street on September 2 at 10 am.

I was 9 yrs old when I met you in 1974 through your brother who invited me back to play. Street hockey in the back lane or the tabletop version in the dining room of you mother's house. Of course there was the Lyle cup to the winner (bologna sandwich and a cup of Kool-Aid). Ball tag all over the neighborhood with tennis ball, Run or you got beaned, and then you're it. Elastic hockey stick guns were another way of passing the time, a little bit painful but fun if you didn't get shot. You also expose to a lot of music, so much music that I'd still listen to today.
