CAROLE RUTH MCCULLOUGH
It is with heartfelt sadness that Sharon, Garth and Curtis, share the loss of their loved mother, Carole Ruth McCullough, on August 21, 2026. Mom passed peacefully after a brief struggle with cancer. Mom had many challenges in life but always dealt with them head on, with integrity and honesty.
Mom loved to golf, curl, travel and she cooked amazing food. She cheered loudly and she was always our biggest supporter. Mom loved her grandchildren, Kristal and Mick (Sharon), Donald and Dylan (Garth), Jack and Curtis (Curtis) and Scott. She cherished every visit and conversation with them. She was also a great-grandmother to Calen, Jaxon, Lochlan, Saoirse, and Croia (Mick) and James (Jack).
Mom was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Chuck and Gary. We know they will be there to greet her.
A very special thank you to our Aunt Carol and her husband Lee, cousins, Bonnie and Bob, for going far above and beyond in the care of our mom. In addition, a special thank you to all her nieces, nephews and extended family and friends that visited her.
In memory of our mother, please donate to the Children’s Hospital Foundation or your favourite pet rescue.

Mom, I looked for you in the evening sky If you were there, I did not find you. I looked for you in the fields and along the forest paths so alone in my sorrow but I could not see you. I looked for you beside me holding the walking stick but my hand was alone. I looked through our family pictures, I could see you through all the years of my life. It saddened me to read this today. Carole and I shared many good times (and some not so good) over the approximately last 37 years. We sold real estate together, traveled to Mexico in the 90's, visited back and forth for dinners and card games at our homes and, also, at Moose Lake. After Carole moved to the Wellington, we, unfortunately, kind of lost touch, but I will always remember her laughter and her great personality.
