Peacefully on August 21st, 2026, at home.
Born September 29, 1936, in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, to Thomas and Charlotte Anderson.
Attended Bates Town and Kelvington high schools. Married Norman Burnett in December of 1954. Lived on the Burnett family farm for four years, then moved to Winnipeg in December of 1958 with small children, where she lived the remainder of her life.
She is survived by son David (Carolyn) of Saskatoon and their children, daughter Charlene (Jeff Seidel), and great-grandchild Maella; son Shawn; daughter Marlene (Richard Paterson) and their children, Matthew and Suzanne (Steve Hewson); and son Eugene (Charlene), all of Winnipeg. Pre-deceased by her parents; brothers, Thomas, Peter, and Harold (Sharon); sisters, Edna Pite, Hazel Lazar, Pauline Anderson, and Laura Olafson. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
At her request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
