It is with heavy hearts the family wishes to announce the passing of Dolores Leroy, on August 22, 2026, at the age of 80.
Dolores was predeceased by her mother Hélene and her father Louis, and her husband Christian.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard and Daniel, and her daughter Nathalie (Serge), her grandchildren, Christophe, Renée (Austin), Julien, Miguel, and Sophie.
In her younger years Dolores worked as a nurse, and also as a government employee. She was very active in the French community and enjoyed being involved in the enhancement of the French culture, and she was a wonderful homemaker.
Dolores was very fond of the Christmas season and always transformed the home into a wonderful, magical place that always brought joy to everyone.
Prayers followed by a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 beginning at 1:00 pm, at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 4DE at Actionmarguerite Saint-Boniface for the wonderful care and love given to Dolores.
