Cherylle Marciniw passed away peacefully at 79 on August 25, 2026 after living with Parkinson’s disease.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gregory, daughter Lisa (Brian) and her grandchildren, Matthew (Vanessa) and Amy.
Predeceased by husband Michael, father Walter and mother Florence.
She lived her whole life in Transcona. Graduated from Transcona Collegiate with honours in 1964.
Cherylle would say that her greatest accomplishment was raising her two children after the death of her husband.
Her association with the Confidence Rebekah Lodge was a very important part of her life. She enjoyed her position as Treasurer, and cherished the many great friendships she made.
We are deeply grateful to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for their care, compassion and kindness.
As per Cherylle’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
