Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA (MARY) PAVOT
It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our mother Mary Pavot on July 26, 2026, at the age 80. She gently released her energy back to the universe with her family by her side.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Maria Pavot and her brother William Pavot. Mary is survived by her son, Michael, her daughter Roxanne, niece Shannon, nephew Jamie (Joelle), niece Carissa, and her grandniece Libbi.
Born in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 8, 1946, Mary lived a busy and fulfilling life raising her two children Michael and Roxanne while working full-time at CN Rail. Mary enjoyed spending time in Grand Beach with family and friends, cheering on the Blue Bombers, her travels in Belgium, and volunteering for local community groups and even helped spearhead the Archwood 55+ group.
She had a love for writing, playing bingo and spending simple times with her friends and family. She was passionate in helping others and rarely said no to those in need which attests to her generous nature and unconditional love she had for those close to her. Mary was adored for her positive outlook and her ability to make light of difficult times with her lighthearted spirit.
She should be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart and all the laughter shared amongst those she loved, and not any tears. She would say: “If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry so find something to laugh about!”
As per her wishes there will be no funeral service, and cremation has taken place with a private interment to follow.
If so inclined, donations can be made to any of the following that Mary was passionate about:
Belgian Club, Salvation Army, Heart & Stroke, Wildlife Foundation
