My condolences to Gino, Sara and Jessica. Susan was a good childhood friend of mine growing up in St. Vital. She was fun, caring and bright. I admired her quiet determination and, as a doctor myself, was happy for her when she chose to move on from Nursing to Medicine. We kept in touch about each other’s lives and families through Christmas cards until some time after that great disruptor, COVID-19. Rest in peace, Susan. - Posted by: Gordon Yanchyshyn (friend) on: Sep 06, 2026

Deepest condolences on Dr Fair’s passing. I was a patient of hers for many years and she was truly missed when she retired from family medicine. She was very caring and compassionate, was almost as happy as I was when she confirmed my first pregnancy. She was a wonderful person and will truly be missed. RIP. Many thoughts and prayers to her family - Posted by: Wendy Kowal (Patient) on: Sep 05, 2026

I had Dr Fair for many years before she retired from being a family doctor. She was the best doctor I ever had. She was so kind and a very good listener. She took very good care of her patients and was worried about me when she retired and wanted to make sure I did get another well respected doctor which I did in Dr Permack. My deepest Condolences to her friends and family. - Posted by: Brenda Franz (Previous patient) on: Sep 04, 2026

My deepest condolences to Susan’s family. I was good friends with Susan in high school and university and have many fun memories of times we spent together, such as our train trip to Expo67 and carpooling to U of M. In the last few years, I always meant to touch base again to catch up and I’m so sorry I didn’t. I’ll miss you, my friend. - Posted by: Judy (Gillis) Cormier (Friend) on: Sep 04, 2026

I am so sorry to hear about Dr.Susan Fair’s passing. She was my family doctor for many years. She was caring, attentive, wise, knowledgeable and left no stone unturned with finding the best treatment or solutions with my healthcare needs. We had our babies around the same time. Dr. Fair was all around a beautiful human being. I loved her very much and have often thought about her in the last years. My deepest sympathies to her family. - Posted by: Hildy Doerksen (Patient) on: Sep 04, 2026
