It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Helen Marleau, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on August 31, 2026, at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 87.
Born in Altona on February 18, 1939, Edna grew up in Plum Coulee before moving to Winnipeg, where she met her husband, John. They married September 19, 1964, and shared 49 years together before his passing in 2013.
Edna is survived by her four children, Michele (Don), Sherry, Thomas (Aaren), and Jeanette; grandchildren, Darryl and Vanessa, Sammy (Jamie), John and Kristina (Justin); and great-grandchildren, Juliette, Alexander, Ashlynn, Ethan and Emma.
Edna was strong, selfless and devoted to her family. She worked for many years as a Dietary Aide at Park Manor Personal Care Home and Concordia Hospital. She cherished time with family, especially at the lake and on memorable trips to Mexico.
