PATRICIA IRENE WILSON

(DANILITION) (nee LIDDLE)

July 22, 1936 - August 29, 2026

Pat lived a long, full, and eventful life. She passed away peacefully (in her sleep) on August 29, 2026, at the age of 90.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Bradford (Qin), Sandra, and Heather; her grandchildren, Cesar and Brandon; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald Danilition (father of her three children); her second husband, John Wilson; her parents, William and Christina Liddle; and her siblings, Doug Liddle and her treasured sister Connie Hicock (Norris).

Pat was born on July 22, 1936, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She lived there until 1963, when she moved with her family to Montreal, Quebec. In 1973, Pat and her children returned to Winnipeg, where she remained for the rest of her life.

Pat worked at the Bank of Montreal for 32 years. In retirement, she kept busy with bowling, club activities, church involvement, and volunteering at Concordia Hospital for ten years.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and many friends, always embracing life to the fullest. Pat lived her life with positivity and humour, and in her later years often proclaimed, “I’ve had a good and happy life!”

In lieu of flowers, Pat appreciatively requested donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada (Manitoba Division) or Grey Street United Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9th at Glen Eden Funeral Home.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff, neighbours, and friends at Le Manoir de la Cathédrale, where Pat enjoyed the last years of her life.

  • I met Pat years ago through my late husband Neville. Over the years he often told stories of the great times he had with Brad along with their friends at Pat`s, She recently told me Neville was like as son to her. He also had fond memories of Sandy and Heather Pat`s daughters. Pat loved her family. She was so happy to see Brad married to Qin who was like a daughter to her. Pat loved to entertain. Her cheese and pickle trays were perfect. Pat was a fashion plate ...always looking great. I never saw her so happy as at her 90th birthday in July. She would have loved her celebration. She was a lady/ She will be missed. - Posted by: Lynne Cooper (friend) on: Sep 10, 2026
