GEORGE HENRY VOTH

April 2, 1955 - September 3, 2026

George Henry Voth passed away on September 3, 2026, at Stonewall Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1955, the youngest child of Peter and Margaret Voth of Meadows, Manitoba.

George was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Margaret, and brothers, Arnold and Peter. He is survived by his brother Jake (Judy), sister Margaret (Art), brother John (Rita); sisters-in-law, Ruth and Victoria, and their families.

George attended schools in Meadows, Rosser, Grosse Isle and Warren Collegiate before beginning a lifelong career in farming. Over the years, he built his farm through hard work and dedication, eventually owning 950 acres.

On June 6, 1976, George was baptized upon confession of his faith in Jesus Christ at Schoenfelder Mennonite Church. His faith continued to strengthen throughout his life.

George enjoyed metal fabrication, welding, repairing equipment, fishing, hunting, breakfast visits at Lee-Anne’s Diner, and trips to Princess Auto, Cabela’s and Canadian Tire. He was also a lifelong Maples Leafs and Blue Bomber fan.

George will be remembered for his willingness to help friends and neighbours, his involvement in the local church, and his quiet assurance that Jesus is forever. George was a believer in Jesus Christ, knowing that in the end all his worldly possessions would be left behind. He looked forward to going home to be with his Lord and Saviour.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, Schoenfelder Mennonite Church, Saint François Xavier, MB.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Stonewall Hospital for the excellent care given to George during his time there.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South West District Palliative Care or CancerCare Manitoba.
