It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Roy Arthur Ellis, who departed this world on August 28, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on May 6, 1944, in Toronto, Roy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence brightened the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, favourite son Mike (Tasha), favourite daughter Josi (Greg), his six adored grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Kay, Jillian, Ryder and Meredith who were the light of his life and his brother Paul (Shelley).
In accordance with Roy's wishes, immediate family members gathered to say their goodbyes at his favourite place Canyon Lake Ontario. Though he may no longer be with us, Roy's spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with the love and laughter he so generously shared.
