It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Power. Brian passed away peacefully on the morning of September 3, 2026, at the age of 73.
He leaves behind his wife Eleanor; sons, Rian (Melissa) and Cory (Laura); daughter Tammy (Eddie); grandchildren, Zachary, Madison and Shelby; sister Mary and brothers, Billy (Heather), Kevin (Sharon) and Garry. We'd also like to extend a special thank you to Robert and Gladys for their support over the last several months.
Brian was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland where his heart always stayed and where his ashes will be spread. No service will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in his name.

My deepest condolences to Brian’s family. I am very saddened by his passing. I used to work with him at Magellan and we instantly became friends.
