WENDY ANNE WHALLEY

December 7, 1950 - September 5, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Anne Whalley, who died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.

Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Marion and James Whalley, and her brother, David Whalley. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Vicky Laverty (Ron); her daughter Lindsay Barsalou; and her grandsons, Jacob (Shelby) and Conner Barsalou, and many other family and friends.

Wendy dedicated much of her life to healthcare, working as a nurse and later volunteering her time in the field she loved. She fiercely loved her family, and shared a truly special bond with her grandsons, Jacob and Conner. She also had a precious love for her puppy, Oliver. She was equally devoted to her beloved Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Wendy will be remembered for her strength, her dedication to caring for others, and her deep, fierce love for her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wendy's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
